Good Morning class!

Welcome to week 2 of our course.

Last week, we brainstormed the word "communication" and reflected  what this means to us. 

This exercise revealed that just about every aspect of our lives is spent communicating - even when we think we aren't. We talked about body language - and how important eye-contact is in Australia - but how in some countries, eye-contact is considered very rude and  in some cases can be very dangerous (especially for women).

Some of you identified areas that you needed to work on, such as speaking on the telephone.

THIS WEEK:

We are going to learn how to work with this Wiki and how to collaborate online.

Then we are going to introduce ourselves and share some information about who we are and then in pairs, interview each other. 

The aim is to take down notes about the other person and write a short profile about him or her. This will help with speaking, listening and writing skills.
