Hello Class!

We always seem to have so much work to do - it's all exciting stuff really and I hope you're enjoying the communication course units so far.

Thomas has requested more work on telephone skills - and I hope we can get to do some of this work this week. Please look at the links in del.icio.us , to get you into the mood.  If you can practise with each other, so much the better.  Try and phone each other to talk. At least, for this week, it might be a good idea to find someone who will agree to this and schedule a phone-in time. To find the information on telephone skills on del.icio.us, you need to go to the site http://deli.icio.us and type in the search bar getskilledacc - and the information should be there for you.  You will have to look but it is there. There are two articles there on telephone skills.

Try and download Skype to your computers because this is another way we can talk to each other - you'll need headphones.  I am hoping to trial a lesson where we all contact each other from home via Skype.  www.skype.com  This is free but you can pay for extras if you'd like them.  For our purposes, we don't need to pay for anything.  You just need access to a computer with Broadband.
